International arbitration is arbitration between companies or individuals in different states, usually by including a provision for future disputes in a contract. Unlike court litigation it is not necessary to appoint a lawyer to pursue a claim in Arbitration and more often Arbitration is much faster as compared to court litigation.

One of the reasons parties also prefer Arbitration, is due to the confidentiality and privacy of Arbitration in comparison to court litigation. One of the perceived advantages of arbitration over litigation is worldwide recognition and enforceability of arbitral awards based on the New York Convention.

Mediation refers to a form of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in which the parties to a lawsuit or dispute meet with a neutral third-party to settle the case. The third-party is called a mediator.

Mediation in simple words, is for anyone who is looking for settlement out of court, instead of court litigation or Arbitration and willing to resolve their differences and issues through discussion and negotiation with one another, thus arriving at an acceptable agreement. Family disputes, contract disputes, community disputes and any other disputes looking for a resolution other than criminal matters, can usually be resolved through meditation. Mediation has a success rate of over 80% in resolving disputes.
